RHS Reopening - September 9, 2026

Roosevelt High School will reopen to students and staff on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, along with all HIDOE public schools and offices on Oʻahu.
School will resume with our regular Wednesday schedule, including school-related
activities and programs.

Hurricane Lowell: School Closure ~ September 8, 2026

Due to anticipated impacts from Hurricane Lowell, our campus will be closed to students and staff on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. All school-related activities scheduled for Tuesday are also cancelled, including athletic events and practices, extracurricular activities, meetings, and other school events.

Aloha Roosevelt Students and Guardians, 

All Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) schools and offices statewide will be closed Monday, Aug. 17.
