Did you miss the opportunity to take the ASVAB in quarter 1?
Many of you may know the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) as the test used for military enlistment, the ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is so much more than that. The ASVAB is an option for students in grades 10-12 regardless of your career plans. It will help you learn about your skills and interests, identify potential occupations, and discover all the pathways to career-field entry.
Every student who participates in the ASVAB will receive scores that can be used to guide their career exploration. Students in the 11th and 12th grade will also receive an AFQT score that can be used for enlistment if chosen.
The ASVAB will be administered this Fall at Roosevelt High School in the Library Lab on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1:00pm. There is no cost to participate in the ASVAB, however, seats are extremely limited. Registration will be done on a first come first serve basis.
The registration form is attached or hard copies are available in the Library (see Mrs. Yoshimura). Deadline to turn in the registration form is Wednesday, November 22, 2023 or until seats are filled.
